Chapter 316 Saving the Villagers!
Chapter 316 Saving the Villagers!
The next day arrived, after bidding his farewells to Evelyn, wearing his usual face mask, the mage made his way towards the open ground on the northern side of the castle.
It was the place where the teleportation platform was placed. As he walked into the garden, he saw that everyone important from the royal elf family was present in the area along with the rest of the members of the hero party.
In the middle of the garden, there was a huge raised platform with some wide stone slabs placed on one another to form a gate with them. It was the teleportation gate through which people go from one point in the world to another point after setting the coordinates of the locations.
"You are doing a great thing." Lucian walked forward with a big smile on his face. "I wish I could go there instead of you but sadly I am not powerful enough. I will promise to work hard and reach your level."
The mage just nodded his head and turned to look at the approaching little girl, "Here is a small gift for you, I hope it can protect you in need."
She raised her hands, presenting a small knife. Although it looked a little old, the mage could tell it was extremely sharp. Suddenly she shivered while presenting the knife, and she knew the reason for that well. She could only smile wryly at a certain woman's jealousy.
"Thank you." He took the knife and placed it inside his robes, before turning to look at the last member of the team approaching him with a wide smile on her face.
"I am sorry, I could not get you anything but I will pray for your safety." Taking his hands in both of her hands, she pressed them against her chest. Lila's face paled seeing her act like that; she was afraid something bad might—
*Woosh!*
Suddenly a strong gust of wind blew in the air, and in front of everyone's eyes, Elena's clothes started to rise. Before she could push them back, her whole robe was upside down, and everyone covered their mouths in shock seeing that the nun was not only wearing seductive lingerie but there was also something plugged in more than one place.
Lucian was also surprised by the sight he saw; he was too stunned to even help her in this situation. He did not know that his girlfriend was into such things.
By the time she covered herself back, she realized everyone had seen the thing she was trying to hide, and the wind had also stopped blowing. While she was trying to look for the person who blew the wind, the mage had already walked past her and nodded at Nhalos.
"I am ready." He said.
"Where is this?" Looking at his surroundings filled with nothing but dense forest as far as he could see, the mage uttered.
'Magic Sense!'

Activating his magic sense, he looked around as far as his sight could go, and to his surprise, he was in the middle of a huge forest filled with powerful beasts, and the place he had to be was hundreds of miles away from the place he was currently standing.
"Was this a mistake or on purpose?" his expression turned serious behind the mask as he thought of such a possibility. But before he could think much about it, his senses caught something.
'Teleport!' With a single thought, he disappeared from the area and reappeared above a small village that was being raided by an army of small creatures called Imps.
They were small nasty creatures, just as ugly looking as their actions. Even though they were not that powerful when they were alone, in a group they could be very hard to deal with. The biggest power of these imps was that they could take over someone else's appearance taking advantage of the chaos.
Floating high up in the air, the mage looked at these two-foot-tall furry creatures with sharp teeth and claws with curiosity. He could see that the village was being guarded by a group of adventurers wearing some worn-out armor and some soldiers wearing their own kingdom's armor.
'I wonder where is the summoner.' The imps are called the cunning creatures of the dark because their natural habitats are dark forests and hidden caves. They do not leave their habitat unless someone summons them.
Looking around with his scanning magic, the mage found a cloaked man hidden in the forest summoning another batch of imps.
" Looks like they are being overwhelmed." He muttered looking back at the people guarding the small village. "Guess I will lend a hand before dealing with the other."
As the mage raised his hand, an illusionary figure of a golden-haired angelic woman with Angelique in her hands appeared. The woman moved her hands to reach out to the strings of the instrument.
