593 Chapter 593: The Sword Is Extraordinary?
The Mindeye crown tiger looked at Noah with frustration and anger evident in his eyes.
He never expected that there would be someone who would be weaker than him and have higher attainments in illusions than him.
That was an intense blow to its pride as a king-level beast. His anger rose to another level when he saw Xin Yan slaughtering his subordinates.
Blood dripped from the several wounds on its body as he looked at Noah. Even though its body was riddled with several slashes, they were nothing but surface wounds.
'Even though you are good at running away, there is nothing you can do against me, human!' There was no pride in the eyes of the beast, as the one who pushed it this far was none other than a human weaker than himself.
'My subjects will exhaust that woman, and that would be the end of her. That old man will not be able to make a move in front of that sneaky bastard.' Noah raised an eyebrow, noticing how the beast was able to curse Amon.
"So you are not fully controlled by those people..." Noah muttered to himself without moving. "What makes you beasts different is that you are not brainwashed... your soul does not have anything special..."
Seeing its opponent disregarding its presence, the Mindeye crown tiger roared in anger and lunged forward.
"You won't be able to touch me, so why bother—" Noah's eyes widened in the middle of the battle as he saw the spirit beast pausing in the middle of the battle and turning to look in one direction.
'That bloodline...' There was a hint of fear in the eyes of the beast as his gaze landed on a small hare scratching the face of another and he saw. 'How is that possible? I have the bloodline of a king!!'
"Did I give you an easy time so that you are sure that you can afford to look away from me?" Noah's voice sent shivers down the beast's spine.
'What—'
Splash!
Before the beast realized something, he felt a tearing pain all over its body. The pain came from none other than the slashes that Noah left on its body.
"Go deal with the battlefield on the ground. I will handle things here." Amon waved his hands, and the beast turned around obediently, but its eyes flashed with a trace of unwillingness.
Woosh!
"I am surprised that you did not move to stop that beast," Amon spoke with mockery, seeing the unmoving duo before him.
"Old man, go and take care of the sect. I will deal with this guy here." Amon's hands clenched into fists when he saw Noah ignoring him but soon calmed down.
"Are you looking down on me? I can tell you are the third most powerful person here besides that woman and that old man, but arrogance has its limit. My power is not something the likes of you can comprehend," he asked in a grave tone as he watched Old Man Ming disappear. He did not stop him, as he was not sure if the old man was merely acting to be unable to use his true power or was truly helpless.
Recalling the sense of dread from the previous attack from him still gave Amon chills.
"Looking down on you?" Noah looked at Amon and raised his head to look down at him. "That I am. What are you going to do about it?"
"HAHAHA!" Amon laughed out loud. "I have never seen someone as arrogant as you, but it's fine. You will pay the price for your discretion."
Woosh!
"Feel the dread of the dead." Amon's figure glowed with a dreadful aura that covered Noah from all sides and pushed him downwards while he still kept flying in the air.
At the same time, all the dead bodies on the ground started to wake up limb by limb, as if they were being moved by some kind of string.
All the limbs shot towards Noah at such a speed that he could only see blurs before they were before his eyes.
Woosh!
A pair of draconic wings appeared behind Noah as he tried to dodge each one of these limbs, but the speed was not something he could keep up with...
Splurt!
