Lin Fan knitted his brows when he heard this, but that was just the beginning since there was something else that happened.

He was about to pull back from the wall of flies that was in front of him, but he suddenly froze.

That was because there was something that suddenly came from inside of him.

He didn't know what this was at first, but it was intense enough that it froze him from the inside out. He found that there was this strange energy that seemed to be locking him in place.

It was almost as if this strange energy was trying to take him over.

When he followed that strange energy with his spiritual sense, he found that the source of it was coming from his back. With his spiritual energy, he was able to see that it was a few flies that were attached to his back that he hadn't noticed.

These were tiny flies that had escaped his perception with some kind of strange energy wrapping around them. They had made their way to his back and had landed on him to act as a conduit for some kind of power.

The flies were used as waypoints that allowed the power to flow from them into him.

That was why he had been frozen all of a sudden like this.

The demon of the statue was Beelzebub, who was known as the Lord of Flies, it was only natural that he would be able to use flies in such a way.

After seeing him freeze all of a sudden like this, the remaining demonic cultivators all looked at him with wary looks on their faces as if they were worried that he would suddenly start moving again.

"Stand back." That was the simple order that the Lord of Flies gave the demonic cultivators when they were about to attack Lin Fan.

They were shocked to hear that their lord was protecting Lin Fan, but they soon realized that this wasn't the case. That was because there was this demonic energy that started coming from Lin Fan.

This demonic energy was actually stronger than the one that they possessed.

This demonic energy seemed to be the demonic energy of the lord that they worshipped.

It was energy that they could only feel if they ever provided something satisfactory to the Lord of Flies.
