so when they were cut by these blades of mist, it was almost as if they had been betrayed by a close ally.

the spirit beasts that weren't taken down in a single hit jumped back, but they were still injured by the blades of mist. it didn't seem like they would be able to fight with the way that blood dripped from their wounds.

it seemed like they would succumb to those wounds at any moment with the way that their wounds looked.
