Chapter 959 Strange visitor

After walking down, they found themselves inside of a tunnel under the house.

This wasn't a small tunnel, this was quite the large tunnel that seemed to lead a long way.

The young girl followed them down as well and took a torch to lead the way for them.

Huang Xie still seemed confused about this, but he still followed Lin Fan and the young girl. Though judging from the look on his face, it seemed that he was ready to fight if it was needed.

Though Lin Fan seemed like he wasn't worried at all.

The young girl didn't say a single word as she led them through the tunnel and eventually they reached the end of the tunnel.

They arrived at a set of stairs that were leading up, but Huang Xie still had no idea just where they were. He looked at Lin Fan as if he wanted to urge him to leave this place, but Lin Fan just followed the young girl up.

So in the end, Huang Xie had no choice but to follow as well.

When they came up the stairs, Huang Xie found that this place wasn't what he had expected.

Lin Fan gave a simple nod before waving his hand as if he was dismissing her.

The young girl didn't seem to mind at all as she headed out the room.

Lin Fan didn't respond right away as he looked at the piece of paper he was holding, but then he said, "But you never saw that strange actually leave, right?"

The Southern Cloud City Lord lowered the piece of paper that he was looking at to look at Lin Fan with a strange look.

Only when he saw that Lin Fan didn't seem to be joking about this, he looked through the reports again before slowly shaking his head to say, "No, there was no one that ever observed that stranger leaving the Huang Family."

He even had to look over the other reports just to confirm this, as if he was afraid that he had missed something.

Lin Fan just gave a simple nod before saying, "That's all I needed. Thank you."

Without any hesitation, he stood up and said to the young girl, "Bring us back to the same place as before."

The young girl didn't move as she turned to look at the Southern Cloud City Lord like she was asking for his permission.

The Southern Cloud City Lord didn't act right away, but he eventually gave a nod to her.

It was only then that the young girl led them to the same passage as before.

Though the Southern Cloud City Lord picked up the pieces of paper from the table to follow them and said, "Sect Master Lin, are you sure that you don't need these reports."

Lin Fan just looked at him with a smile and shook his head before saying, "No, I've got all that I needed."
